Rates

Psychotherapy clients: 

The rates are $120 per 50-minute session for Individuals only. Please see the Couples page for more information about pre-marital, post-marital or relationship counseling in general. Marathon sessions are available for Individuals and Couples if you would like to meet with me for 1-2 hours (2-4 for Couples) and benefit from going much deeper into your issues of concern. It means we are not focused on the clock and can get a lot more work done. Clients have really enjoyed this experience of having quality time with the therapist in both Individual and Couples. (Please note however that this is not covered by your insurance). Let me know if this would be of interest to you. 

Immigration Evaluations:

For mental health evaluations for immigration purposes, we will discuss the fees at the time that you call. You cannot use your insurance for these purposes.

Disability

If you wish for me to fill out your disability forms the fees are now $50 in cash. If you are using EAP, please make sure you let them know you will have me fill out these forms; especially if your employer needs to be contacted. Disability is a limit to confidentiality as I am making the company aware that you are in therapy by filling out these forms.

Insurance

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions: Do I have mental health insurance benefits? What is my deductible and has it been met? How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover? What is the coverage amount per therapy session? Is approval required from my primary care physician? I am no longer accepting Tricare insurance. If you have a national health insurance (not Ohio based), please see below.

Sondermind.com

If you have Medicare, Anthem, Aetna, Cigna (not Ohio based insurances) I am now atomically signing clients up in this portal. Insurance companies are making it increasingly difficult to work with them. Sondermind manages the billing for me. The good news is that I schedule your sessions though them, so you will get reminders for your appointments. If their website says I am not taking new clients and you have any of these insurances, call me (614) 813-7677 and I will take care of setting you up. Also, Sondermind has psychiatrists (telehealth style), so if you need these services, you can take advantage of this with no waiting period.

Payment

I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
